Nate Quarry vs. Tim Credeur Slated For UFC Fight Night 19

nate_quarry_prevA middleweight bout between Nate “Rock” Quarry and “Crazy” Tim Credeur is expected to take place at UFC Fight Night 19 on September 16th.

Tim Credeur was a cast member on season 7 of the Ultimate Fighter and had a good showing on the show.  Credeur made it to the semi-finals, but lost to Jesse Taylor and C.B. Dolloway in the semi-finals.  Credeur rebounded well with UFC wins over Cale Yarbrough, Nate Loughran and Nick Catone earning an overall 3-0 record inside the UFC.  Credeur is a Louisiana native and is best known for his submission skills, but lately he has been electing to stand and has gotten the better of his opponents.  Credeur will get a huge step up in competition.

Nate “Rock” Quarry is a hard hitting middleweight who has made a strong recovery since potentially career-ending back surgery.  The season one alum is coming off of a huge and impressive win over Jason MacDonald at UFC 97.  Quarry is a product of Team Quest and has shown great improvement.  Nate has an overall 6-2 record in the octagon with his only losses coming by way of Rich Franklin and Demian Maia.  Quarry seems to be able to destroy the mid-level fighters, but has been unable to defeat the top tiered guys in the division.

UFC Fight Night 19 will air live on SPIKE and will usher in the 10th season of the Ultimate Fighter.
