It is expected that a middleweight bout between Dan Miller and Demian Maia will take place on February 6th at UFC 110 in Las Vegas.
Maia is coming off of a loss at the hands of Nate Maquardt at UFC 102, but it hoping to rebound with a big win over Miller. The submissions specialist is considered by many to be a huge threat to Anderson Silva’s middleweight title, however following his loss to Marquardt Maia would need to string together a few wins to merit the title shot.
Miller is no slouch. The former IFL middleweight champion has a very diverse skill set and is also very good on the ground. In fact Miller may be the best submissions guy that Maia has faced inside the UFC.
UFC 110 is slated for February 6th with the headliner not yet announced. However, the card may feature a welterweight fight between Matt Serra and Frank Trigg.
