It looks like the Dean of Mean Keith Jardine will make his return to the ocaton at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia. Jardine last saw action and UFC 102 when he was brutally and quickly KO’d by Thiago Silva. Jardine has shown great promise in the UFC. His claim to fame is a victory over Chuck Liddell. He also hung in there and nearly notched a win against “Rampage” Jackson. However, Jardine has been very inconsistent. The Greg Jackson trained fighter is looking to build a winning streak starting at UFC 110. Jardine has lost two in a row and needs a win to stay relevant in the UFC. Actually, he may need a win to keep his job.
Jardine’s opponent seems to be the Ultimate Fighter 8 light heavyweight winner Ryan “Darth” Bader. The Arizona Combat Sports fighter has looked veyr impressive in the UFC. Most notablly Bader notched a big win over Eric Schafer at UFC 104. Bader, an all-american wrestler out of Arizona State University has tons of promise and reminds many of Rashad Evans. Bader will take a huge step up in competition with Jardine.
