Joe Doerksen in Against Tom lawlor at UFC 113

Fresh off of a victory at Sautrday’s King of the Cage Even, Joe Doerksen is reportedly making a return to the UFC to face “Filthy” Tom Lawlor at UFC 113 in his native Canada.

Doerksen has a career 1-4 mark inside the UFC.  Doerksen has had a solid career and most of his 12 career loses have come to notable fighters.  Doerksen does hold 44 career wins including victories over the likes of Denis Kang, Patrick Cote, Chris Leben, Ryan McGivern, Brian Foster, John Alessio and Ed Herman.

Joe Doerksen will replace Tim Credeur who was forced off the card for some type of injury.  His opponent on May 8th will be Tom Lawlor.  Lawlor lost his last fight against Aaron Simpson, but many people felt that Lawlor won that fight.  Regardless, Lawlor impressed in his last outing and looks to rebound with a victory against a tough veteran in Doerksen.
