guys on your list that I didn’t mention (mostly due to being above 27 vs my criteria):
1) Magomed Malikov – barely missed my cut due to being 28. However, he could easily drop to light heavyweight with that body. Has a lot of fat to spare.
2) Levan Razmadze – he is only 26. has a fight coming up 2/18 vs Ryuta Noji. However, I don’t think the UFC will be taking his guy too seriously. He is an overweight heavyweight. UFC appears a little biased against the big bellies. Roy Nelson was the only exception due to going thru TUF.
3) Shamil Abdurahimov – 30 years old. Should get a shot. Great fighter. Tough loss to Tony Lopez.
4) David Olivia – 28 years old. Missed cut due to age but is not a well built heayweight. 5’11 230.
5) Lyubo Simeonov – Love this guy! but he is 35 years old.
6) Tony Johnson, Jr – great prospect. 25 years old. but signed to Bellator.
7) Ryan Martinez – 29 years old. I’d favor him to beat Richard Odoms next in ProElite.
8) Mark Ellis – only 25. great camp. great background. but horrible loss last November.
9) Magomed Abdurahimov – 28 years old. Great start to his career!
10) Ruan Potts – 33 years old. should be in the UFC soon!
11) Ty Lee – 27 but has been inactive since September of 2010.
12) Adam Parkes – Should be in the UFC soon! 3/3 vs Deividas Banaitis. 30 years old.
13) Azunna Anyanwu – 30 years old. signed to Bellator.
14) Jermaine Van Rooy – this guy is awesome but I think he’s pushing 40.
15) Manny Lara – word was he was dropping to light heavyweight.
16) Stav Economou – another Levan Razmadze. yet only 25 years old.
17) Kevin Asplunder – deserves a shot in the UFC! but he is 36.
18) Chris Barnett – chunky little guy. like Razmadze and Economou.
19) Jonathan Helwig – light heavyweight.
20) Ibragim Ibragimov – 29 years old. should be undefeated.
21) Trevor Carlson – great prospect for light heavyweight. next at 205lbs vs Sean O’Connell on 2/24
